Competition Site: Etiwanda High School, 13500 Victoria St, Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91739 (See map below).
Gates Open: 10:30am
Admission: Day Pass $50.00, Prelims $30.00, Finals, $30.00. Discounts are offered for students, military, and seniors. Buy tickets here. The ticket booth is cashless.

Important Reminders
Video & Audio Recording is prohibited. Out of respect for fellow audience members and spectators and to protect the rights of the original composers and copyright owners who license their music to the Buchanan Instrumental Music Program and organizations that host events we participate in, the use of audio and video recording technology - including mobile devices and live streaming applications - during and rehearsal or performance setting is strictly prohibited.
Bands of America encourages spectators to not bring bags into venues. Clear bags and emergency bags will be permitted. Bag policies are effective to expedite entry into venues and provide additional safety. Spectators will be allowed to bring items such as cameras, provided they are not in cases that would violate the bag policy at that venue.
Outside food and beverages are NOT allowed to be brought into the stadium, either by students or spectators.
If you are traveling to the show and planning to take your student home with you, you may pick them up at the conclusion of our itinerary on Saturday, just before we depart. We will not release students sooner.
Let us know if you plan to pick them up and what time.
Complete the “Post-Event Release Form”.
Check your student out from a director or bus chaperone IN-PERSON. We will only release students to their own parent/guardian.

4 S’s (Shirt, Shorts, Socks, & Shoes!
Water Jug
Additional change of clothes for after the show.
Jacket or Hoodie. Be ready for all temps and types of weather!
Additional (healthy) snacks for the trip.

Itinerary - Saturday, November 2, 2024 - Show Day!
5:30am Report the BHS • Check in on iPad
6:00am Depart for Etiwanda H.S., Rancho Cucamonga, CA
(One Stop @ Laval Rd - Restroom only - no buying food or snacks!). Get right back on the bus.
11:00am Arrive at Etiwanda High School. Unload the Truck/Pit Setup/Prop Setup/
12:00pm Lunch @ Eating Area (Provided)
12:30pm Get into half uniform. Leave the rest of your uniform folded neatly with the rest of your belongings.
12:45pm Go to the stadium
1:00pm Watch Rancho Cucamonga HS
1:15pm Watch San Marcos HS
1:50pm Ready for Show/Lined Up for Warm-Up (Pit-Pushing Parents Needed by this Time. We Will Need Help Pushing to the Warmup Area, Not Just from the Warmup to the Stadium)
Half Uniform. All instruments should be ready to go. Uniform tops folded. Section leaders get water for your section.
2:10pm Warm Up (Area TBD)
2:40pm Pit to Gate
2:50pm Pit Report Time
3:05pm Band @ Gate
3:15pm Buchanan Preliminary Performance
3:30pm Store Props/Back to Truck/Change completely out of uniform
4:00pm Watch Ayala HS (if possible)
4:30pm Preliminary Awards. Everyone must be in the stands sitting together/Expect it to be crowded.
Please do not check BOA’s website for performance times until we have had our band meeting!
5:00pm Dinner at the eating area [Provided].
5:30pm Full Band Meeting @ Eating Area. Finals Schedule Announced.
Finals Schedule TBD - If we make finals, we will perform. If we do not make finals, we will stay and watch.
